What is it?
The Community Visitors Scheme is a national program that coordinates friendly volunteers to visit older people at risk of social isolatlon, in their own homes or in residential care. The visits are for about an hour each fortnight and can include sharing activities or interests, such a board games or movies, or just a cuppa and a chat.
The idea is to listen, make friends and celebrate life.
We run the CVS across metropolitan Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, Barossa, Mallee & Southern Region, Lower North, Riverland, Eyre Peninsula and the South East.
